I have spent countless hours surfing (like you have as well); and I bet I will continue to do, (like you will probably do too).

I have reached the stage where even dedicated bookmarks' organizers will not help anymore, to keep my digs & surfs organized and up-to-date, but most importantly retrieve the info that I remember I have, when I actually want it (or before I forget having it, after all).

Somewhere between going through row after row of url addresses, and deciphering descriptions that read now so vague as to be meaningless, I decided to take my archived knowledge, insight & preferences to the next level.

Drafting a blog, to put all things, images, impressions and thoughts, into one coherent space, was the obvious start. Creating metronome was the concept that was born right after.

What metronome will be though, is something that has taken a life of its own.

We are not a blog. We are not a news or a read-the-latest-information site.

We are not a diary.

We are a men's life centric gazette. We are aware of all those things, surroundings, thoughts or actions that make your life meaningful, and then roam the globe (literally & virtually) to present the best of what we find. We are a mens world reporter.

Content is of paramount importance.

Content is your kingdom. The words are your king, but the images are your queen.

Respect.

Our choice of subjects / topics, shall be as diverse and interesting, as each and everyone of you.

We will not abuse the work of others.

We will promote and present under the best of ways the work of others that we use or mention. We will always reference and direct our readers towards the originators.

It is not about being up-to-date with information of what's going on out there.

It is about being up-to-date with its perception.

It is not about serving all new information that is out there.

It is about curating. Digesting the info and then relaying only those news or info, that we deem as useful or interesting reading for our readers.

It is about creating. Generating news and presenting views.

Giving the different twist. There is an abundance on news sites out there, to cater for every need, or vice. We wish to transcend the barriers of what each reader should read, and give a more holistic view. After all, we are made up to be different, and like a diverse variety of things. We wish to offer the "cream of the crop".

We want to stimulate people in thinking about their life and what surrounds them ; to stand back and see the whole picture.
