unique modelling agencies

We Are Unlike You is based in Berlin, Germany, and was founded by Paul Green (Photographer), Tim Rhodes (Photo Agent) and Maurice Redmond (Creative Director). We Are Unlike You is in fact unlike any other model agencies. They don't just offer tremendous looking individuals, but real characters who don't just look the part, they feel and act it too. Because it's simply who they are. We Are Unlike You offers an unorthodox approach to affordable model management, where people are neither traditional models, nor everyday folk. They represent select professional burlesque performers, drag-acts, dancers, musicians, cabaret artists, and stand up comedians and all are unique individuals with a look and style all of their own. They are all naturals in life, and in front of a camera.

In their own words : "We want to inspire photographers, creatives, casting and booking agents to create images, develop stories and ideas that will feel as passionate, quirky and authentic as our people."

Ugly Models placed one ad in 1969 for a unique appearance and since then the rest is history.  Based in London, UK, they count four decades of expertise since originally spotting a gap in the market, thus creating a key movement in the industry. Auditions are held every 18 months to join Ugly specialising in the extreme not mainstream, looking for that special something.

In their own words : "We like our women fat and our men geeky, we like the extremely tall and the shockingly small. No one is too abstract for our books! We are Ugly. And we are the leaders in character modelling. Guinness World Record breakers?  No problem. We represent the tallest guy in the world. Need two human pin cushions?" With over 1,000 models on their books ranging from 18-100 years old, sizes 6-30, Ugly sports the most individual, wacky and peculiar looks in the industry; from trannies to grannies, burlesque to bikers, wee folk to rock blokes!
