Sel et Gras : the small french restaurant

Sel et Gras is French for Salt and Fat which is the first indication that this isn’t your typical French restaurant. Sel et Gras is here to buck the system, making you surrender all of your preconceived notions with stuffy French food, and roll up your sleeves for some bold and flavorful dishes.

This particular restaurant rightfully contests the title of the smallest fully equipped restaurant in Manhattan NY. Boasting 14 tables, it can accommodate roughly 32 people. The dining room is covered in graffiti and filled with aluminum chairs. The menu features mostly French cuisine dishes, with soups, tartes, oysters and croquettes, being some amongst them.
