Amplicate, founded and run by Juan Alvarez, is
a much hyped database and information company tracking consumer opinions in
social media. Amplicate’s data is used in reports for marketing analysis,
competitive tracking and industry comparison, and is increasingly the quoted
source in the media for online social sentiment. It is a place where you can

Amplicate began collating
opinions from social media in August 2009. According to their marketing, they
now track over 140m public opinions from over 29m social media users.
